At sawmills and timber plants, the yard lives in forklift drivers' heads and on paper. Where a bundle is, what ships next, what is already in the kiln – people find out over the radio. The job: a system where every role gets its own simple app and the data meets in one place, synced with the ERP the site already runs.
Discipline by discipline.
The apps
Four core apps for the people on the site – Forkman in the forklift cab, Stockman on pocket terminals, Truckman at the gate, Planery for planning – and three specialists: the 3D warehouse, the Optima load planner and DocParser for supplier PDFs. Every app works on one shared record, synced both ways with the ERP, in EN, ET and RU.
UX/UI and design
One app per role means one screen language across very different devices: the cab tablet, the pocket terminal, the office web app. Each role's flow is designed on real yard data, and all the apps share one design system.
Front-end
The web app and the Android apps: the live yard map with RTK positions, the 3D warehouse, the movement journal and planning.
AI automation and testing
We automate the team's own processes with AI and run the testing: automated checks after every change, and the apps walked through in a real browser before a release.
Website, marketing and video
A full redesign and a new version of pixelchain.ee, the marketing material and the product videos.
- One app per roleA forklift driver should not see planning, and a planner should not see forklift buttons. A simple app for one role is learnt in a shift.
- Offline firstSignal drops in the yard. Every action is saved at once with its original time and sent when the signal is back, so the journal never lies about the order of events.
- Precision where it matters±2 cm at the fork tip is the difference between "a bundle in row 4" and "this bundle".
- Feb 2026We join the team: UX/UI and front-end of the web app.
- May 2026The Android app for the forklift cab.
- Sep – Oct 2026The new website, the product video, planning.
