Morning digest of everything that moved
The best morning digest is boring: deterministic, incremental, and silent when nothing happened. I run this one myself: daily since July 2026 across all my repositories, and the same run refreshes a live project-pulse index and a docs-drift scan. Intelligence is applied when you read it – not when it is collected.
How it works
Four steps, and only the third involves a model. The scheduled path costs nothing to run and cannot invent activity.
Every repository, zero AI
A scheduled job walks every repository, one level deep, and gathers commits since the last acknowledged run. Zero AI: the collector cannot invent activity.
Silent when nothing moved
A chat message fires only when the digest is non-empty. Silence is information too.
Signal from routine
When you open the session, AI separates signal from routine and proposes what deserves a log entry.
Your OK, item by item
Each proposed entry lands only on your per-item OK. Acknowledgement is a separate explicit step – a skipped morning loses nothing.
What you gain
- Incremental by design: state advances only on your ack, so gaps never swallow history
- Noise-controlled: dirty working trees collapse to one line instead of 700 file paths
- Costs nothing to run: no model calls in the scheduled path
Honest limits
- It sees version control; work outside git is invisible to it
- The AI triage is advisory – the digest itself never depends on a model being up
indicative, not a quoted delivery date
How many repositories do you open before coffee?
Tell me on a 30-minute call – the collector is a day of work; the quiet is permanent.
